Last night the moon woke me up. At sunset it was snowing hard and I couldn’t see the moonrise for the clouds. I had forgotten to put down my bedroom window shade. By about 2 am the sky had cleared. I was dreaming I was lying in the sun on a beach when suddenly I woke up. The house was very quiet. My room was illuminated with the reflection of moon on snow. I got up , opened the door stood for awhile listening to the river run. The cat rubbed herself gently around my ankles and touched me with her cold nose. What a delightful time to practice I said to myself, and so I did.
